In May 2011, the referencing process, i.e. the referencing of all qualifications in the Czech Republic to eight levels within the common European Qualifications Framework (EQF) was completed. The Report on the Referencing in the Czech Republic, describing the process and its results, was approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and will be submitted to the Czech government for approval in June.
From 2012, all new diplomas, school reports, certificates and Europass documents will be provided together with a statement on the EQF level. Employers and schools will be able to understand what the candidate can really do and what they can expect from him/her.
