- In May 2011, the referencing process, i.e. the referencing of all qualifications in the Czech Republic to eight levels within the common European Qualifications Framework (EQF) was completed. The National Referencing Report of the Czech Republic, describing the process and its results, was approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and will be submitted to the Czech government for approval in June

- EQF Portal – In order to facilitate the referencing process, in 2008 the European Commission supported the development of the EQF web tool, which would enable referencing the qualifications and comparing the national qualifications frameworks and the national qualification levels.
